Auto Shader - Automatically Create Materials From Folders of Textures

This script automatically creates one or many shaders at once from a selection of folders. The shading network is determined by a user-defined template and can be configured for any shading setup/renderer.

Installation:

  1. Copy the AutoShader folder to your Maya scripts folder (typically: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\maya\scripts)
  2. Use the following python commands to load and run the script:
    import AutoShader
    AutoShader.start()
